Togo - Atchavé

Installation and use of a first C8 atmospheric water generator in the Peripheral Care Unit of the village of Atchavé.
The situation before our arrival
In the village, a solar-powered borehole pump is installed but only operates for a few hours a day (from around 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), along with 2 hand pumps. Primary and middle schools do not have water.

A small machine that turns air into pure water
The C8 atmospheric water generator is a small, mobile, and very easy-to-install machine that extracts moisture from the ambient air and turns it into very pure drinking water It just needs electricity and a sufficient humidity level to operate.
Thanks to the very favorable weather conditions, the machine installed in Atchavé is producing more than 25 liters of drinking water per day, which is the equivalent of the water needs of nearly 100 patients
And then? A tour of 4 villages
Following the installation of this pilot site, we conducted a tour of 4 villages in the «Haho 1» canton for an evaluation mission, with the aim of replicating the experience and providing sustainable drinking water to other populations deprived of everything.
