After electricity, it’s drinking water, fresh and mineralized, delivered to the beneficiaries closest to them!

First the solar energy, then the water
At the end of 2023, we had a Photovoltaic system in the school in Agotové, This project, funded by AirLife and the 13th Department of Bouches-du-Rhône, aims to ensure that the cost of the energy required for the proper operation of future water generators is no longer a barrier to water production.
AirLife has turned to the company YOORG, an authorized distributor of solar solutions from «Victron Energy», to equip the Agotové school with solar panels and lithium batteries. This system also allows to power other electrical devices. The entire energy production is monitored remotely by the «Victron VRM» system via a 4G modem and a production analysis portal.
The shipment of the 5 machines was quite a journey, and the installation an exceptional event for the village. After electricity, drinking water, fresh and mineralized as close as possible to the beneficiaries!
5 machines, that’s more than 120 liters of water per day
equivalent to the drinking water needs of 75 to 100 children.
10 operational generators
Since 2022, AirLife has been tirelessly fighting to ensure that the people of the villages in the Notsè commune have access to clean drinking water.
Our efforts are beginning to be rewarded with the implementation of the following: 10 operational atmospheric water generators. A symbolic number that we managed to achieve thanks to the support of the Metropole Aix-Marseille-Provence, from’Agence de l'Eau Rhône Méditerranée Corsefrom Bouches-du-Rhône Department and our local partners OPED and the Notsè City Hall.

June 2022
AirLife provides a C8 water generator to the health center (USP) in the commune of Atchavé.
December 2023
Construction of 4 family-friendly dry ecological latrines «ECOSAN», hygiene awareness conducted by OPED Togo, and installation of 4 water generators connected to the sector in the health centers of Amakpapé, Dalia, and Kloegnamé. Findings: easy to deploy in centers with electricity, but this increases the cost per liter of water.
April 2024
5 new machines that operate autonomously, thus no additional cost for the village of Agotové, thanks to the photovoltaic system funded by AirLife (Agotové project).
Since 2022, AirLife has brought water, sanitation, and electricity to 4 villages around Notsè
In a bid to ensure durability and monitor the quality of the installations, maintenance and replacement of filters have been entrusted to the technical service of the Notsè municipality (Haho 1) and to the maintainer Lawson TEVI, whose company TFID operates in the field of air conditioning. A monitoring chart for the change of filters and for punctual interventions has been put in place.
But we're not stopping there!
Thanks to the success and the directly measurable impact of these first 10 generators, a 500-liter generator per day in the center of the village of Agotové, for about 800 beneficiaries, will be deployed in the coming months with the construction of about ten additional latrines.
