Official visit of the USP in Atchavé
On Friday 12 August, the commune of Haho 1 hosted with honor a delegation from the NGO OPED for the Official handover of the atmospheric water generator Delivered by AirLife Association.

The reception of the «jewel»
The reception of the «jewel», as it has been nicknamed, took place in the presence of the 1st and 3rd deputy mayors of the municipality of Haho 1, representing the mayor. The generator is installed in the health center (USP) of the village of Atchavé. It will allow to produce 15 to 20 liters of drinking water per day.
This is the first time such a method has been used in Togo and in West Africa!
The whole commune gathered together
The head of the Atchavé canton, the municipal councilors of the area, the notables, the members of the Management Committee of the Public School (COGEP) and the USP, as well as the presidents of the Village Development Committees (CVD) were also present at the ceremony.

The first drops
A few minutes after its installation, the generator produced pure water, which was tasted and highly appreciated by the authorities present at the ceremony. Regular monitoring of the machine will be carried out to ensure its maintenance and sustainable use.
We aim to strengthen our partnership with the commune of Haho 1 in order to contribute to meeting the needs for access to clean water in the commune.
The beginning of a beautiful adventure
This first generator paved the way for all the projects carried out since then by AirLife in the Notsè commune.
