Delivery of the first water generator to Togo<\/h2>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

\n \t\t\t

A first C8 generator was donated and shipped in June 2022 by the association to health center (USP) in the commune of Atchav\u00e9<\/strong>. This first action was possible thanks to the partnership established with the NGO. OPED<\/strong> (Organisation for the Environment and Sustainable Development), active in the commune for several years.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

How does a C8 generator work?<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

The C8 is an atmospheric water generator: it does not draw water from any aquifer or well; it produces water from the air we breathe. A principle particularly suited to Togo, where the air is hot and humid for much of the year.<\/p>\n\t\t

It captures the moisture from the air<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

The ambient air is drawn in and then cooled: the water vapor it contains condenses, like the morning dew.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

It purifies the water<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

The collected water is filtered and purified using a patented ozone process, without any contaminants, bacteria or microorganisms.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

It mineralizes it<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Result: 15 to 20 liters per day of pure, fresh, and mineralized water, with a simple electrical or solar connection.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

A memorable first tasting<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

The first tasting of the produced water was a real event, highly appreciated by the canton\u2019s chef.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

Pure and controlled water<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Offering pure and mineralized water is important in a country where \u00absachet\u00bb water is common and does not undergo any serious quality control.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

Why start with a health center?<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

In a peripheral care unit (USP), drinking water is essential at all times: to treat, clean, and assist in childbirth, and to limit infections linked to non-potable water. Installing the first generator at the USP in Atchav\u00e9 was choosing the place where pure water is most precious, at the service of the entire community.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

And since then?<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

This first generator was just the beginning. Here is the journey that has been made since:<\/p>\n\t\t

June 2022<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Delivery of the first C8 generator to the USP in Atchav\u00e9.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

\n \t\t\t

August 2022<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Official handover of the generator in the presence of the elected officials of Haho 1, followed by a 7-day tour to assess the needs of the neighboring villages.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

\n \t\t\t

December 2023<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Construction of ecological ECOSAN latrines, solar electrification of the Agotov\u00e9 school, and 4 new generators in the health centers.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

\n \t\t\t

April 2024<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

5 new autonomous machines at the Agotov\u00e9 school: 10 generators in service in total.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

\n \t\t\t

2025<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Construction of the solar cabin in the center of the village of Agotov\u00e9.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

\n \t\t\t

2026<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

The arrival of a generator that produces 500 liters of water per day for the 900 inhabitants of Agotov\u00e9.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

The starting point of the whole adventure<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

This first generator, donated to the USP in Atchav\u00e9, launched AirLife\u2019s operations in the town of Nots\u00e8.<\/p>\n\t\t
