And what a welcome in each of the communes, reinforcing our determination to develop the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Airdrink association - water for the villages of TOGO\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hAVbdBf3g6Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Meeting with the mayor of Nots\u00e9, Mr Yawovi SEFENU dit \"Laurent\", and his project and decentralized cooperation manager, Mr Sedzro Komi YENA dit \"Cr\u00e9pin\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/airlife-asso.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/3-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-290\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We then get to know the commune and meet the HAHO prefect, Mr Awo TCHANGANI, who tells us about the problems of access to drinking water, especially in the villages. \"Cr\u00e9pin\" explains to Philippe GONIN, treasurer and representative of the association, the groups of people we are going to meet in the 4 cantons: Atchav\u00e9, Dalia, Hahomegb\u00e9, Nots\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/airlife-asso.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Sans-titre-15-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-292\"\/><figcaption><mark><strong>Day 2 : <\/strong><\/mark><br><strong>Visit to the Canton of Atchav\u00e9<\/strong>A full delegation was waiting for us. Visit to the USP where the C8 machine currently in operation is installed. (for further information, see our \"\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/airlife-asso.org\/en\/projets\/\" type=\"URL\" id=\"https:\/\/airlife-asso.org\/projet-en-cours\">Project in progress<\/a>\" )<br><br><strong>Visit to Dalia Canton<\/strong> 1 borehole for two villages. The medical center (USP) has electricity but no running water. <br>&gt; <em>We agree that 2 C8 machines would be ideal for Dalia's USP.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit to Hahomogb\u00e9, a large village with 17,446 inhabitants. It is in the process of being electrified. The village has 8 classes (from CP to CM2) spread over 3 schools.<br>&gt; Needs expressed: 2 machines per establishment + 1 on the public square (protected) + 1 machine at the USP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark>Day 3 :<\/mark><\/strong><br>Visit to the village of Agotov\u00e9. This village is the most deprived. With 1,000 inhabitants, it is located several kilometers from Nots\u00e9 via a dirt road. There's no running water, no electricity, no latrines and no health center!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, fetching water is a chore, usually done by teachers and schoolchildren every day before going to school.<br>&gt; Objective: the 2 school buildings have solid roofs that can be fitted with photovoltaic panels, enabling drinking water to be distributed within the school itself.
